3 Location Ideas for a Summer Branding Photoshoot

Summer is here, and it’s time to start creating and sharing on-brand visuals for the season. Although this may be a time for more rest and time with family, you can still grow your business through batch creating and scheduling engaging content.

So, where can you create content that feels like summer? Here are a few ideas:

By the water: Pool or beach

Client: Heather of The Fit Foodie Life

Styled Home

Search for a beachy styled home with bright color decor (that matches your brand colors of course) and create lifestyle content of you doing various things like working at the computer at the kitchen counter, planning at the coffee table, making a summer drink in the kitchen or even sitting outside on the patio on the phone. My go-to for renting styled homes by the hour is Home Studio List. They’re constantly adding new listings and there are many great options in the area!

Add these content ideas to your shotlist:

  • Writing in a journal, working at the laptop and sipping a cold summer drink at the dining table

  • Reading a book and or working on the laptop on the sofa

  • Sitting on the floor at the coffee table

  • Posing by a bookshelf or bright colored wall

  • Doing your skincare routine in the bathroom

Studio

Nothing feels more like summer than a body of water! Grab some photos of you posed by the pool wearing cute sunglasses, with your laptop or phone and a summery drink. Or show the balanced entrepreneur life with a beach chair, a good book and gorgeous view. If you don’t have a pool in your backyard, you can actually rent one on Swimply!

People rent out their pools by the hour, and many are beautifully styled for content creation. You can search by your city, and even the type of amenities you’re looking for.

Add these content ideas to your shotlist:

  • Typing on the laptop by pool

  • Sipping a drink on the pool or beach chair

  • Taking a photo of a prop with your phone or camera

  • Reading a book by the pool or on the beach

  • Walking along the pool or beach
