Product Photography: Havenlee Clean
High quality photos of your product are the foundation to increasing sales. But what kind of photos resonate with your ideal customer?
It’s important to have clean, clutter-free product images on your website. But you also want to have images that tell a story and show how your product fits into your customer’s everyday life.
How to create a content strategy for your product brand
If you’re creating a content strategy to sell your product, keep these details in mind:
Who is your ideal customer?
What does their daily routine look like?
What pain point does your product solve for them?
Which complementary products do they currently use that your product aligns with?
How would you describe your brand in words?
What kind of feeling do you want your customer to have during or after they’ve used your product?
Which colors are your customers attracted to?
Use your answers to these questions as a guide to creating your product imagery, and then create a moodboard to reflect this.
Also, be sure to incorporate photos of you as the founder. You can humanize the brand with models, but it’s still important to have a catalog of images of you to share stories of why and how you started the business, the problem you seek to solve with your brand and be a thought leader in your industry.
It’s also good to have images of you on hand for PR. If a publication wants to feature your brand on their channels, they’ll likely ask you for a headshot, and you don’t want to be scrambling to get these photos!
