8 Poses to Try for Curvy Women

Do you get nervous in front of the camera?

One of my goals this year is to feel more confident in front of the camera, and encourage my clients to build their confidence as well! There’s nothing like feeling or looking nervous on camera, and one of the main ways to crush the fear is to practice posing. Whether it is for photos or video, confidence is the #1 thing you need to attract your ideal clients and customers and convert to sales.

As a curvy woman, it can be challenging to not only pose, but also get angles that flatter my figure. So, I’m setting out to get really good at not only posing, but figuring out which angles work best on camera.

Truth bomb: It feels silly practicing poses, and I was honestly sweating trying them out. But, it’s the confidence I’m building, and stepping out of my comfort zone that make all the difference in encouraging others to do the same.

If you’re wondering where to find poses to try, search Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, and curate your own moodbard for your brand. It’ll also save time shooting, whether you’re DIYing your photos or working with a brand photographer.

If you need some pose ideas for your next brand shoot, try these out! Save them to your Pinterest mood board, and practice practice!

What are your go-to poses for brand photos?
